OUR STATEMENT

We believe in the power of people to shape their stories.
We Believe in you.

OUR ORIGIN

Our framework is grounded in research and real-world experience. One of the earliest insights that shaped our work was the idea that loneliness isn’t just emotional discomfort—it’s a signal. Much like hunger signals the need for food, loneliness signals a deep human need for connection.

This perspective helped us realise that addressing loneliness and purposelessness—whether in individuals or organisations—requires a method rooted in connection.

And there’s no greater form of connection than the sharing of a story.

OUR PROCESS

Purpose
We foster purpose and resilience in individuals, leaders, and communities through connection.

How We Work
We begin by listening—understanding your organisation’s well-being and cultural needs—then respond through our storytelling and support framework.

Our Framework: Myth-Weaving
Myth-Weaving is based on the idea that we are always creating stories—about ourselves, each other, and our communities.

At an individual level, our thoughts aren’t objective facts; they’re internal stories that shape our behaviour. At a communal level, shared stories emerge through norms, habits, and culture. By recognising these narratives, we gain the power to shape them intentionally—rather than be shaped by them.

Our framework teaches practical techniques to help shift these stories—internally and collectively—towards more connection, reflection, and belonging. These shifts build purpose and resilience.

Ongoing Support
Myth-Weaving is more than a one-time workshop. We stay in touch—offering continued support to ensure your team feels heard, empowered, and backed every step of the way.

MEET US

Founder & Owner

Dan Abraham

Lovely to meet you all 😊
As the founder of “Storied” it’s no surprise that I’ve always loved story-telling! However, this love of story was embedded with a lot of introspection as I taught History and Philosophy in secondary schools and grew up with a physicist for a father. I realised the power of narrative in shaping us as I taught students history and saw the different patterns that played out in individuals and in societies.

My personal journey involves a lot of change however, I won’t spill the beans here haha this discussion is for our first meeting together and hopefully my personal journey is something that can inspire you for change and action in your own life.
Aside from my love of story and philosophy, I absolutely love movies! When I’m not working on the concept of “Myth-Weaving” with people, you’ll find me in a cinema watching whichever random movie is playing.

Manager & Lead coach

Daniel Abraham

Hello all!

As the manager of Storied Workshops, I find my home connecting with different people and learning about their stories and needs. I taught Math and Physics in schools for 17 years where I found my passion for understanding what guidance and communication method works best for different people. I see myself not only as a teacher, but as a learner and a student forever.

I’m a lover of UFC and enjoy pushing myself physically with high daily step counts (106,000 steps in one day is my current record). I’m also passionate about music from all over the world, so please don’t shy away from recommending me your obscure music favourites!
